The largest and most magnificent mosque in Bali, standing in the centre of Denpasar since 1963. Sudirman Grand Mosque is a landmark for Muslims in Bali and a must-visit for Muslim travelers. The mosque features twin 45-metre minarets and a golden dome visible from a great distance. Capacity is 5,000 worshippers. Friday Jumu’ah prayer is held at 12:30 PM. Wudu facilities, restrooms, and parking are well maintained. Located in central Denpasar, accessible from all parts of Bali.
Facilities
Cover your body — long sleeves & long pants/skirt. Women must cover their head.
Remove sandals/shoes before entering the prayer hall. Shoe racks are available at the entrance.
Turn off or silence your phone inside the mosque. Respect worshippers who are praying.
Separate wudu facilities for men and women are available within the mosque complex.
