The only mosque in central Ubud serving the local Muslim community and travelers. Baiturrahman Mosque stands with simple architecture in Ubud’s predominantly Hindu spiritual town. Despite being small (capacity 200), it plays a crucial role for Muslim travelers exploring Ubud’s art galleries, rice terraces, and markets. Located on Jl. Suweta, approximately 700 metres from the famous Ubud Market. The mosque has wudu facilities and a small prayer hall. Local Muslim residents are very welcoming to visiting Muslim travelers.
Facilities
Cover your body — long sleeves & long pants/skirt. Women must cover their head.
Remove sandals/shoes before entering the prayer hall. Shoe racks are available at the entrance.
Turn off or silence your phone inside the mosque. Respect worshippers who are praying.
Separate wudu facilities for men and women are available within the mosque complex.
